This is unfortunately the last photo diary you'll see from my exchange in Australia, one of the most beautiful countries in the world. The best part of being there, as I've probably already said a thousand times, was being surrounded by all kinds of animals, plants and landscapes. It really is breathtaking 24/7. Today, I wanted to show you some close-ups of those famous Australian creatures you see in books and catalogues. They're all pretty funny, except when they're lethal obviously.

That Time In Perth

Perth was the last trip I took during my exchange and it felt really good. I stayed over at some Italian friends' of mine house in Freemantle, one of the prettiest suburbs of Perth, and then in Mandurah with my host family for another few days. One of the reasons why I loved being there so much was probably seeing the place my friends kept telling me about, seeing how they adapted to that lifestyle and definitely being spoiled with the best Italian food after five months of abstinence. It was so weird to see them in a different environment, the one I adapted to in the last five months, the one that now belonged to me in a different way. It was like observing the experience from three different points of view, which is pretty cool.

Walking on the best beaches, popping into every vintage shop in Freemantle, having dinner at the beach market, waking up with an amazing view: everything was adorable and I really had a great time there.

3 Days In Kangaroo Island

It's been more than two months since I came back from Australia but my online life has abruptly stopped because of school and a few other reasons. I still have so many pictures to post, videos to upload and things to say so that's what I'm going to do in the next few days.

Kangaroo Island was one of the most amazing places I've ever visited. The colour of the sea and the wildlife that surrounds it is just breathtaking. I had the best three days running on stunning beaches and trying not to be killed by spiders (yeah, spiders).

Looking at these photos now, from a 5°C Milan, I can't help but desperately wish someone could take me back there.
